HeathWallace expands its digital user experience & design consulting capabilities to serve clients in Australia from its new Melbourne hub. A new team has been established to drive HeathWallace’s progressive growth in the local market.
Founded in the UK in 2001 and acquired by WPP in 2008, HeathWallace believes its international track record with global leading brands over the past 10 years will add to the diversity and richness of the user experience (UX) profession in Australia.
HeathWallace’s move to Australia is a clear response to the growing demand for professional user experience and design firms with solid international exposure by organisations who are digitising their business and who are committed to designing customer centric solutions as part of their strategy. The firm’s mission is to help large, complex organisations augment the skills required across various disciplines to create positive user and commercial impact across their marketing, sales and servicing channels which include web and mobile based service delivery.
“Billions of dollars have been invested in IT solutions to enable business transformation initiatives in Australia in recent times and companies are recognising the pivotal role strategic design centred around user and business needs as well as good user experience (UX) play as an integral part of effective transformation. What sets successful companies apart is their ability to create sustainable competitive differentiation in the way they fuse knowledge of customer behaviour, creativity and technology,” says Maria Sit, Regional Managing Director of HeathWallace, Asia Pacific.
Throughout the service development process, from strategy to research to design and development, HeathWallace’s strengths lie in its ability to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to co-creating. The firm works with clients who want to magnify the benefits of technology they invest in and who above all are committed to transforming the way it engages it customers & employees via relevant, user-centric solutions and corresponding business processes.
Fiona Meighan, Managing Consultant of HeathWallace Australia, has joined the new Melbourne team to help spearhead the business. Fiona comes to HeathWallace with over 15 years of experience in user research, human factors and interaction design in the Australian, US and Asian markets.
“Australia has a lot to offer, not only in a domestic context, but for the overseas markets it is pursuing, and the digital channel is core to how it realises its potential”, says Fiona Meighan. “I am very excited to work with HeathWallace’s world-class team of UX professionals and to bring together an exceptional pool of local talent to help Australian firms create their own brand of competitive vigour that will be widely recognised.”
“Melbourne is a logical place for landing in Australia as it’s truly a vibrant hub of commerce, creativity and innovation in Australia with a highly educated talent pool,” says Maria Sit.
